You can download and use Personal Lexicon for free. Some features will not be fully functional until you register and obtain a personalized license key. If you like the program please consider registering by clicking here.
Choose your platform:

Windows (98, ME, 2000, XP, Vista)
Download PersonalLexicon.exe (895kb)
Requires Java 1.4 or higher *
Installation Steps:
- Right click on the download link and choose Save Target As. Note that browsers other than Internet Explorer may use slightly different language for this menu option.
- Navigate to the Desktop or alternate location if desired and click Save.
- Once downloaded, go to where the program was saved and double click it to run.

Macintosh OS X (10.3 or greater, 10.4 recommended)
Download Personal Lexicon.dmg (1.1mb)
Installation Steps:
- Click on the download link. If you are using Safari then the download will start automatically. Other browsers such as Firefox will prompt you to save the file, which you should do.
- Once downloaded you may need to double click on the PersonalLexicon.dmg file to mount the volume. Again, Safari does this automatically.
- Go to the Desktop and open the Personal Lexicon volume.
- Drag the Personal Lexicon application to the computer's Applications folder. Once copied you can unmount the Personal Lexicon volume by dragging the icon on the desktop to the trash.
- Now you can double click the Personal Lexicon application to run it. For easy access you may want drag the application to the Dock on the desktop.

Many if not most computers running Windows already have Java installed. The first time you run Personal Lexicon it will tell you if your computer doesn't have Java. In this case you will be directed to the Java website where you can download and install it for free. All computers running Mac OS X have Java by default. |
